This synergy I talk about and share with you is in many ways a higher level of the practice, meaning it may take you time to realize it in your QiQong or other internal practices. But it is so very important to getting there that I want to tell you about it now. Even if you do nothing else but breath and find structure/alignment and the synergy that they create you will be benefiting as much or more in the long run than you would using a series of postures or movements.
Tips for you:
Take it easy and do not push it... if you need to work on breathing and structure separately so not to confuse yourself (we can only pay attention to so many things at a time) or create tension then do it separately.
Ask questions, I tried to provide a fairly complete although basic idea of what is going on with breathing and structure but to make that information more valuable to you ask questions about it.
